Description:

Are you interested in bringing Mason and other solitary bees into your garden? Instructor Neil Dumont will cover everything you need to know to get these powerful pollinators to take up residence in your backyard.

Mason bees out pollinate honeybees ten to one and can add a boost to your spring garden. Learn how to set up their ideal home, where to source cocoons, how to care for them after the season and much more. This session includes a 2-hour presentation indoors plus a 1-hour garden walk.

Neil is the owner of WildBee Co., a business that started with the idea of creating unique solitary bee homes for our urban environment and helping increase awareness about these amazing pollinators and what we can do to help them flourish.

Notes: Please note that registration will close at 4:00 p.m. PT, one business day before the event. Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given for education courses. A credit will be applied to your account for cancellations with one week's notice. With less than a week's notice, no credit will be given. No new credit will be issued if the cancelled course was purchased using prior credit. Program cancellation by the VBGA due to Public Health Restrictions will result in education program credit equivalent to the value lost. Credits must be used within one year from the date issued.
