Description:

Learn the process of drawing from observation through the study of harvest vegetables. In this two-hour workshop, Katharine will teach techniques to create an accurate representation of a vegetable with step-by-step demonstrations. Join in online from the comfort of your home, and leave class with a foundation in tonal harvest drawing.

For this class, participants should have the following materials at home:

- Spiral-bound mixed-media sketchbook (9x12” or 11x14”, Canson or Strathmore)
- Graphite pencils (2B and HB), 2 sticks of willow charcoal, 2B charcoal pencil, pencil sharpener
- kneaded eraser
- small brush bristle hair or paint size 4 or blending stick

Specimen examples: heirloom tomatoes, garlic or shallot, pear, squash (patty pan or butternut) – bring 1-2 different shaped subjects

This course will take place online, and will not be recorded. Pre-registration required. If you have un-used Education Credits, you can use them to pay for this course!
