Description: This walk throughout the Garden will focus on soils, exploring how texture, organic matter, hydrology, and biological activity all influence soils, and plant growth. See the effects of regular soil amendments and discuss the constraints and opportunities for gardening in different soil conditions, including some of the best plant choices for challenging conditions. Class is limited to 15 people, and will be entirely outside.
