Description :

This online Swiss tournament will be CFC-rated, seven-rounds, and loads of fun. Depending on registration numbers, it may be run in different sections, with prizes being awarded for the top three performers at different rating levels. All participants will receive a printable certificate.

Also, we have a casual play chess arena running throughout the event for kids who want to play some chess in a more relaxed environment. Participants can join and leave the arena as they wish, and play as much or as little as they want.

After registration, you will receive details by email on how to set up an account on Lichess (it’s free!) and how to join the various tournaments and the Zoom meeting.

Notes : CIC Live Online Chess Clubs bring a small group of students together for weekly online chess lessons and chess games. CIC Chess to Life Instructors use video conference technology to provide an engaging, interactive learning environment, facilitating insights and building life skills such as decision making, goal setting, emotional intelligence, and respect for others. No physical chess sets are required. Full instructions and links will be sent out to registered students before the class.
