Description :

This spring students at Cleveland Elementary will be completing three projects.  Using watercolor, sharpies, and acrylic paint we will create cosmic flowers!  With modeling paste and acrylic paint on canvas we’ll create lunar paintings. Using clay, we will shape reptiles and add design markings.  All three projects will have a deeper purpose of learning Aboriginal dot design and storytelling.

Notes : Students will participate in the Arts Alive! Showcase on Saturday, May 16th at Harding Middle School. Art work will be displayed during the event, beginning at 9:00am, Performances will be held from 9:30 until approximately 12:00. Please plan to attend with your child. Performance and presentation is an important part of the artistic process. The event is FREE! Look for information from your instructor as the date approaches.
