SIM Card

Help us put cell phones and SIM cards into the hands of neighbours and families in your community. 

Some 30% of Food Bank users do not have access to a phone.

Access to a phone would allow residents to make an appointment to visit the Food Bank, get help through 2-1-1, provide contact information on a job application, receive a wellness call and accept food hamper delivery in a high rise building.

Used phones will be accepted at the Manor Park Community Centre, quarantined then factory re-set. Your donation will help purchase SIM cards for these phones so that staff and volunteers at Rideau-Rockcliffe Community Resource Centre (RRCRC) and Partage Vanier will can the phones into the hands of people who need them.
