Cost for extended hours is $45 for a 5 day week and $35 for the week of August 4 - 7, 2020
Age groups for camp are 4 – 10. We will run two separate groups. Siblings and family members will be grouped together first.
Camps will run with 8 children and 2 camp counsellors, and the groups will not change whatsoever during the week.
We will be following guidelines from the City of Ottawa and Ottawa Public Health to ensure that we are providing a safe environment for all participants, staff and family members.
Parents, care-givers, or other family members not attending the camp are not permitted inside the building and will not have access to washrooms.
Children and family members will need to be screened prior to arrival.
If anyone begins to show symptoms while attending camp, they will need to be picked up by a parent immediately. The participant will wait in an isolation area to be picked up.
We will be accommodating 16 children each week, ages 4 – 10.
There will be no specific themes at camp this year. Children can expect to enjoy the sports field, climbing structures and swings. Active sports and games will be included along with art, crafts, quiet time and story time. The splash pad will be available for those who attend already wearing their bathing suit. Changing in and out of wet clothes will not be permitted this season.
All activities will take place outside, unless inclement weather. If we anticipate that heat or extreme weather will be an issue, we reserve the right to cancel the camp on that day without notice. A refund will not be provided in this case.
Should the province say that summer camps are not able to run, we will put a credit on your Amilia account and any refund requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
NEW! Litter-Less Lunches at Summer Day Camps in Manor Park:
Help keep our green space green! Litter-less (waste-free) lunches are highly encouraged at Summer Day Camps in Manor Park. Not only is a litter-less lunch great for the environment but also encourages healthy eating and keeps trash and food wrappers from ending up on the ground. Whenever possible, it is encouraged to send campers with reusable lunch bags, waterbottles and food containers.
Campers should bring:
Campers should label ALL of their items and keep personal belongings to a bare minimum. Campers should arrive with a healthy, waste-free & nut-free snack and reusable water bottle. A hat and sunscreen are strongly recommended. Those wishing to play in the splash pad must come wearing a bathing suit as changing clothes will be prohibited on site due to covid-19. It is recommended to apply sunscreen before arrival whenever possible or provided for the camper to apply themselves. Flip flops and a towel.
