Interested in growing your own food but don't have access to an in-ground garden? Welcome to the world of possibilities for edible container gardening! This session is perfect for urban gardeners who want to get started with growing veggies and food crops on their balconies, patios, and container gardens, with tips on how to get started. Learn which vegetable varieties are best for patios or balconies, what the best soils and companion plants are, and which container pots to choose.

After receiving Jennifer's assistance and demonstration, you will feel confident to design the layout of a container garden to plant at home. 
 

This course will take place online with a mixture of engaging components such as group discussions and demonstrations.  
 
Recordings will be available for a limited time to participants. Pre-registration required.

Notes : Please note that registration for our webinars will close an hour before the event. Online course log-in details will be sent 24 hours before the course date. Cancellation policy: No refunds will be given for education courses. A credit will be applied to your account for cancellations with one week's notice. With less than a week's notice, no credit will be given. No new credit will be issued if the cancelled course was purchased using prior credit. Program cancellation by the VBGA due to Public Health Restrictions will result in education program credit equivalent to the value lost. Credits must be used within one year from the date issued. Please notify us of your cancellation in writing to learn@vandusen.org
