Description:
This 8-week introductory basketball program is specifically designed to provide age-appropriate instruction and activities that aim to develop game appreciation, tactical awareness, and skill development in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment. Trained Lead Coaches and their assistant coaches will provide a one-hour instructional program combining physical literacy activities and fundamental basketball skills in a fun, non-competitive environment. Children will have an opportunity to develop at their own speed and competency level. Each session will have a small games component as the program progresses. You are required to bring your own ball and a Spalding Rookie Gear basketball (15% lighter) is highly recommended for this program.
