Description:
CEED’s Leadership and Conservation Program is for teens who are ready for more than a regular camp experience. The program is designed to help develop future scientists and conservationists, while strengthening their leadership skills, which will help them whatever they do in life. These two weeks will be focusing on Long Island’s marine environment at CEED. The teens will explore marine environments, requirements for healthy bays and ocean, marine mammal rescue, and meet scientists and researchers with Stony Brook University’s School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Southhampton. Students will also have the opportunity to tour the Southhampton Marine Science Center and explore the bay on a boat.

Price: $1,000.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 12 - 18 years old as of 12/1/2024
Notes: For any switches there is a $25 administrative fee. Cancellations prior to two weeks before camp have a $100/week administrative fee and cancellations within two weeks of camp have a $300/week administrative fee (special circumstances waived).
Prerequisites: Must be entering the 7th grade or beyond as of Fall 2024
