The skills needed to act in front of the camera are very different from a theatre performance. At Elite Acting Academy, our skilled instructors will teach students the art of expression and the differences between acting for the stage and for the camera. We will begin with making you comfortable in front of the camera. This class also aims to promote self-confidence, verbal and non-verbal expression, and teamwork. Students will learn the fundamental techniques used in cold-reading while being recorded as well as the different types of shots used in film and how they affect performance. While working under the guidance and advice of a skilled, professionally trained instructor students will hone their on-camera skills. Students will review their work at the end of each class. A final project will be presented to family, friends and classmates.

Required age: 7 - 10 years old on the day of the activity
