Description:
(Ages 7-9) Five pony-packed days! This exciting pony summer camp is a must for any pony-loving camper that wants an immersive horse and pony education that includes: low camper to instructor ratios, 4 days of horseback riding, one day of horse ground work, care and feeding, trail rides, lessons and much more. Camp will also feature all the camp classics like arts and crafts, games, hiking in the forest, and some time spent with the adorable barnyard farm animals. Perfect for all beginner levels - from brand new riders to advanced beginner. Reminders: - Participants should dress for the weather. Long pants are required to ride. - Bring boots with a heel and a ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet. The horseback riding program does have a small selection of boots and helmets to borrow, through size 9 womens and XL helmet size. - Campers should bring a water bottle, snack, lunch and apply and reapply their own sunscreen, daily. Refund Policy: Cancellations received at least 7 days prior to activity start date receive a full refund, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellations received less than 7 days prior to activity start date receive a 50% refund. There are no refunds for cancellations received less than 24 hours before start time. Exceptions can be made for illness.

Notes: Thank you for registering for the Farrel-McWhirter Horseback Riding Camp! Please bring the following daily during Camp: • Please dress for the weather. Long pants and closed-toed shoes, both for riding and hiking are required. • Water bottle, snack, and a lunch daily. • Riding boots or boots with a heel and an ASTM/SEI certified riding helmet if you have them (the horseback riding program has a small selection of boots and helmets to borrow). • Gardening or work gloves if you have them (gloves will also be available) • A change of clothes including layers, bathing suit (sprinkler time), shorts and a towel. Campers are required to apply and reapply their own sunscreen. Additional welcome to camp information will be e-mail out the week prior to camp.
