Welcome to Wave 3 of our MAY to JUNE Ocean Racing Academy's after-school sailing program.

Wave 3 marks the introduction to competitive sailing, representing the next stage of skill development within our program. To enroll in Wave 3, participants must have successfully completed Wave 2 and demonstrate proficiency in advanced sailing maneuvers and techniques.

This level is designed to immerse participants in the exciting world of competitive racing. Teams will delve deep into race tactics, strategies, and rules, honing their skills through simulated race scenarios and real-world challenges.

With a focus on precision, teamwork, and adaptability, Wave 3 prepares sailors for the exhilarating experience of competitive sailing events. Participants will learn how to analyze wind patterns, optimize boat performance, and make split-second decisions under pressure.

Increased on-water time and specialized coaching will further refine participants' racing abilities, ensuring they are well-prepared to excel in sailing regattas.

At the end of each season, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their newfound skills in friendly racing competitions, providing valuable experience and feedback for their ongoing journey in the world of competitive sailing.
