In this app-development course, campers will use the kid-friendly AppLab web interface to create a series of mobile games - from a simple "Cookie Clicker," to a Wordle clone, and more. No coding experience is necessary and all of the required code will be provided to students. Campers will be introduced to basic coding principles in a beginner block-coding version of JavaScript and will learn the skills needed to customize and create mobile apps of their very own. The AppLab camp is perfect for students looking for a gentle introduction to real-world programming.
