Description:
In this 3 month VEX IQ program, students will work through two separate session programs. Payment will be $225 or broken into three month installments of $75. RoboGames Carnival: Welcome to the RoboGames Carnival, a place where robots can have fun, compete, and go on exciting adventures. In this session, students will build their own robot using the Vex robotics kit. They will learn the basics of block coding and learn to wire and program touch sensors, color sensors, and distance sensors. Finally, they will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to complete exciting, carnival-themed challenges and competitions. Da Vinci's Workshop Welcome to Da Vinci’s Workshop –– a place where kids are inspired to become engineers, scientists, inventors, and artists just like Leonardo da Vinci. In this program, students will tackle complex robot-building challenges using the Vex IQ robotics kit and learn to program their robot using block coding. They will explore concepts such as navigation, gear and pulley systems, catapults, and flywheels. Students will explore the early inventions of the Italian High Renaissance using the robotics technology of today!
