Description:
Students in grades 5-8 will learn how to develop characters, work together as an ensemble, and build their acting skills as they rehearse and perform a fully staged production of Dahl's timeless story of Willy Wonka Jr. Camp meets Monday - Friday, 1-4 pm plus a tech rehearsal on Mon, June 17 from 5-8 pm. Camp does NOT meet on Saturdays or Sundays. Performances are Fri, June 21 and Sat, June 22 at 5:00 pm Tickets for performances will be available for sale beginning May 1. Students should register for camp based on the grade they have just completed.
Price: $160.00 Taxes waived
Required age: 11 - 15 on the day of the activity
Notes: Auditions are required for lead roles. Students not interested in lead roles do not need to audition and will be part of the ensemble. Auditions will be held at the Eagles Theatre on the following days: May 3 from 5-7 pm May 4 from 10 am-12 pm May 15 from 5-7 pm Auditions will also be available on the first day of camp at 12 pm Students do not need to bring a prepared solo selection.
