Description:

Students in grades 9-12 will spend three weeks working together as a team learning music, blocking, and choreography to produce a fully staged production. With beautiful music and stunning costumes, Anastasia is a spectacular new musical about discovering who you are and defining who you’re meant to be.

Optional Boot Camps will be offered again this year. Students will get a jump start on the choreography for the show on May 28 – June 31 at the Honeywell Center.

In addition to the Monday - Friday, 1-4 pm rehearsals please note the following:

  • Mandatory Tech Rehearsal - Sat, June 15 9am to 5pm
  • Dress Rehearsal - Wed, June 19, 5-9pm
  • Final Dress Rehearsal - Thur, June 20 5-9 pm
  • Performances are Fri, June 21 and Sat, June 22 at 7:30 pm

Tickets for performances will be available for sale beginning May 1.

Students should register for camp based on the grade they have just completed.

Price: $160.00 Taxes waived

Required age: 14 - 19 on the day of the activity

Notes: Students who would like to be considered for a lead role must audition before May 15. If the student is unable to attend any of the scheduled audition dates and is interested in a lead role they must contact the Director of Arts, Carolyn Stoner, cstoner@honeywellarts.org to schedule a private appointment. Students who do not audition will be in the ensemble. Auditions will be held at the Eagles Theatre on the following dates and times. May 3 from 5-7 pm May 4 from 10 am-12 pm May 15 from 5-7 pm Students should prepare a musical theatre/Broadway song to perform. You will be asked to sing no more than 1 minute of your piece. Please bring an extra copy of the piano music/accompaniment if possible. Students will also be asked to read selections from the script.
