This is an essential course for anyone who spends time on the water, whether making an ocean passage or local cruising.

• Learn to expect the unexpected and do everything possible to PREVENT emergencies from ever happening.
• Develop safety procedures on your vessel to be PREPARED for various emergencies.
• Techniques on how to REACT to and MANAGE emergency situations (both physically and emotionally) if they occur on board.

This Seminar will be presented in a hybrid format. The first 14 registrants will be invited to attend in person. Other participants will be invited to participate virtually.

Notes: HBSC Cancelation and Refund Policy For classroom courses, one date change will be allowed within the same season, up to 14 days prior to the course start date free of charge. Re-booking based on course availability. For cancellations more than 30 days prior to the start of a classroom course, fees will be refunded, less 15% cancellation fee and the price of any distributed course materials. (ie: Text books)For cancellations 10-30 days prior to the course start date, 25% of the course fee will be retained plus the price of any distributed course materials. For cancellation within 10 days of the course start date or after the course has started, there will be no refunds.
