Our award winning Vets in Training Program offers three different sessions for various age groups:

Jr Vet in Training (7-10 years of age)
Vets in Training (10-14 years of age)
Sr Vets in Training (14+ years of age)

The program is once per week and 5 weeks in length. We offer programs at both our Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth animal centres.

Important Information:

• These lessons happen mostly in class, so this session is best for students who can concentrate for the full two hours. 
• Participants must be able to function very well in a 1:10 staff to child ratio.
• This program is educational, just like school. Students must be able to listen and engage with the instructor for the full 2 hours.
• Students must be able to keep themselves physically and emotionally safe, which means treating themselves, and others, with respect, abstaining from bullying, harassment, violence or general unruliness or unwillingness to listen.
• As this course is run by one of two staff, we do not have the ability to dedicate the attention of a single staff member to any individual child. If a child requires supervision because of behaviour or other concerns, our ability to teach the course and care for class as a whole becomes compromised.
• No refunds will be given for missed sessions should a child be required to be picked up due to behaviour or other concerns.
