Description:
Learn two fun and easy folk dolls from Japan. Daruma is an egg-shaped doll and he wobbles, but he won’t fall down, which makes sense, since he’s a symbol of perseverance and good luck! Kokeshi are a rural folk tradition of making dolls from wood turned scraps. We’ll turn wood turned scraps and beads into little character dolls using paint and bits of ribbon and paper.
