En garde! Diana Unger, a certified coach with the United States Fencing Association with more than 25 years of fencing experience, will teach you the basics of fencing. Fencing requires patience, concentration, discipline and self-awareness. Self-confidence, self-control, and emotional strength gained from this sport will lead to a healthier lifestyle. Participants must purchase and bring their own fencing mask and jacket. Participants must obtain a $15 U.S. Fencing membership prior to the first day of class
(www.usafencing.org). Participants must also bring a glove for the hand they write with. It does not have to be a fencing glove. Masks must be worn during the program and inside the building.
