Time to create your own video game! Learn coding fundamentals of Python while creating your own version of a classic video game genre. Using the same mechanics found in popular games such as Tetris, Space Invaders, and Animal Crossing you can build your own video game with customized characters, backdrops, and the “quest” of the game. Throughout the class, we will build upon your game, create start menus, and design multiple levels of difficulty. Get ready to amaze family and friends with your own video game creation!

 

Our Coding Camps are offered through a partnership with Code Advantage. These camps are offered as separate morning and afternoon camps. A Coding Lunch Bunch from 12-1pm is available for those who want to bridge their morning and afternoon camp sessions.

Required age: 9 - 12 on the day of the activity

Notes: We should include cancellation policy for all activities to read: CANCELLATION POLICY A $25 cancellation fee will apply to refunds for each session of camp that costs over $150 and a $10 cancellation fee for camps less than $150. Refund requests for camps must be received two weeks before the program begins to be eligible for a refund. Refunds requested within two weeks will be considered only if the vacated spot can be filled with another participant.
