Description:

Helen Martini was the ultimate cat mom. She rescued baby tigers, lions, and more - in her own home! Learn the story of the first woman zookeeper at the Bronx Zoo, and the founder of their animal nursery. Join us for a story and a big cat craft, plus a look into life at a zoo in the 1950s. 

In the US, women are 48% of the workforce but only 27% of the STEM careers. This family-friendly program explores a different science-loving lady each session through story, art, and more!

 

Registration is for one child with an adult. Adult must stay for the duration -- this is not a drop-off program.
