With 55-acres of beautiful green space in the middle of Vancouver, VanDusen Botanical Garden represents a safe and interactive learning experience for school and community groups looking for local field trip opportunities!
Booking Instructions
Click Field Trips and then "Guided Programs" or "Pollinator Days" or “Self-guided Programs” below to view your options.
A new page will open which describes the program and shows a calendar with up-to-date booking availability.
Scroll through the calendar to find your preferred booking time and date, and click on the blue square to select an open time slot. If you don’t already have an Amilia account, you will be prompted to create one.
Next, you’ll be asked for information about your group and to select a program theme (guided only), as well as directed to make payment.

By registering for a program, you agree to review and abide by the Code of Conduct included in the Pre-trip Information Package that will be shared with you a week before your program. We will review the Code of Conduct upon your arrival to VanDusen Botanical Garden.
Payment
Payment due within 4 weeks of booking. Cancellations prior to 4 weeks of program receive 50% refund. No refund for cancellations within 4 weeks of program date.
VBGA accepts Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash.
Guided Program Themes
Guided programs are available to students in grades K through 12. 45 minute programs are bookable year round and 90 minute programs are bookable October, November, April, May, and June. Take a look at the selections listed below to find the perfect option for your class!

Pollinator Days (May 29, 30, and 31 Only)
POLLINATOR DAYS 2023 registration: Please choose from either Wednesday May 29, Thursday May 30, or Friday May 31. Pollinator Days runs from 10am-2pm. Classes from preschool to grade 6 are encouraged to attend one of the three event days.
