Description:

Create your own manga style art in this week-long summer camp! Students will learn drawing skills like proportions and facial expressions in an anime / manga style. We'll also draw our own comic stories, and have fun creating keychains and other fun stuff using our artwork!

Manga broadly refers to Japanese comics, or any comics or illustration inspired by the distinctive art style of Japanese comic creators.

Please eat a full meal before coming to camp! We take a 15-minute snack break in the middle of each camp.

Required age: 7 - 12 years old on the day of the activity

Notes: Students will need to bring the following art supplies to class: • Pencil, eraser, and sharpener • Black fineliners or your preferred inking pens • Light snack • Water bottle WITHDRAWAL POLICY for summer camps: • The last day to withdraw and receive a full refund for the class is 7 days before the camp start date. (The 3% registration fee is non-refundable.) • If you cancel between 1-7 days before the start date, you will receive a 75% refund instead. • No refunds are granted if you withdraw with less than 24 hours notice before the start date, or if you withdraw after the camp has already started.
