Tumbling Classes are scheduled into weekly classes that run in varying lengths (i.e. # of weeks) depending on Holidays competitions, and gym closures.
Classes are arranged based on Levels - PLEASE read the prerequisites carefully and ensure you have met them completely. We believe in a Perfection Before Progression philosophy. That means you have to master one level before you progress to the next level. This ensures athlete safety and easier acquisition of more advanced skills.
Athletes that are registered in the wrong level may be asked to switch to a different class (if there are spots) OR they may have to wait until the next session.
Beginner Level 1 - Tumbling Fundamentals - Rolls, cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, fall to bridge, and bridge kick-overs
Advanced Level 1/Beginner Level 2 - Walkover Class – Back & front walkover, back handspring fundamentals
Level 2 - Handspring – Standing back handspring, roundoff-handspring, walkover-handspring
Level 3 - Tucks - Handspring series, roundoff-handspring-tuck, roundoff-tuck, front tuck, ariels
Level 4 - Layouts- Roundoff-handspring-layout, handsprings to tuck/layout, standing tuck
Level 5-7 - Fulls & beyond - running fulls, standing fulls, running double, specialty lines
