Description :

Join LBI's own, Daria Raguseo, for a week of friendship, self-expression, and movement, self-expression and friendship. 

Contemporary dance is an expressive style that combines elements of ballet, modern, and jazz styles, while striving to connect the body and mind through movement. Dancers will be introduced to contemporary techniques through floor work, release and improvisation. Students will learn to be a part of a creative team through choreography and creative play. Dancers are encouraged to explore their own voice, moving with curiosity and confidence. 

Parents will be invited to a special performance at the end of the week. 

Note: This camp is held in the Main Gallery.

Notes : No special attire required. Campers should dress comfortably with appropriate footwear. An informational email will be sent prior to the beginning of dance camp.
