Description:
Writing (ages 12-18) New class! Nicki Silva This class will help students acquire and improve skills to prepare them to write on the high school and college level. Students will study various types of paragraphs and essay writing and will practice such skills as topic sentences, supporting sentences, concluding sentences, thesis statements, and topic selection. Various exercises including grammar, parts of speech, and peer evaluations will support the weekly assignments. Assignments will be customized to fit the needs and level of each student.
