Sewing (ages 8-14) New Projects! Claire Roach There are many reasons to be handy with a needle and thread: making beautiful decorations, personalizing practical objects, or giving thoughtful gifts. You could be practicing to be a future surgeon, or just be able to replace a shirt button. We'll cover many hand sewing skills while making some cute plushies, a reusable hand warmer for those cold winter days, a wall hanging for your room, and several other surprise projects that you can gift to your friends and family. You'll learn some new skills and enjoy crafting together! Each project can be accomplished by students with no previous sewing skills. Time: 11am Tuition: $95/$85.50 for volunteers Supply Fee: $20
