Greco-Persian Wars  (ages 13-18)

A one-semester class.

Join Mr. Burge for a fascinating, and often rollicking, history of the conflicts between the Greeks and the Persians (499–449 BC) as Athens, Sparta, and their fellow Greek city-states strive to preserve the cradle of Western civilization against the marauding Persian Empire, bent on destroying them. This class will bring to life the exploits of Darius the Great and his son Xerxes as they engage in some of the most famous battles of the classical age: Marathon, Salamis, Thermopylae, and more. 

Time: 2pm, ending 12/8 

Tuition: $105 for 14 weeks/ $94.50 for volunteers
