Good health is essential for children of all abilities. Sportball’s Adapted Programs provide an array of skill-building opportunities for participants with additional needs. (Including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Down Syndrome).

Children and young adults who participate in Sportball’s Adapted Programs are able to enhance their attention, listening, physical and social skills and improve their confidence. Our programs include caregiver/parent participation classes and drop-off classes (for participants who require minimal assistance). For optimum lesson engagement, our classes consist of individuals who share similar needs and ability levels.

 

We bundle 10 sports - Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Rugby, Volleyball, Lacrosse, Golf and Tennis into one registration.

Required age: 3 - 6 on the day of the activity

Notes: We want this to be an opportunity for your child to get independent learning. I would say to plan it as drop-off without parents, but if necessary parents or support workers may need to stay to provide additional assistance. Weather Policy: Classes run rain or shine and will only be cancelled due to lightning. If Air Quality reaches 7-10, activities are scaled back, more rest and water breaks will be taken, and low activity games may be offered.
