Join Yuko to practice modified and Simplified Yang Style Taichi. Using meditative movements, we learn to slow down and mindfully work with the Energy Centers to circulate our Qi, and Life Force, and reconnect ourselves with inner peace. Perfect for anyone who is interested in Mindfulness accompanied by physical movement. 

Together we learn to
- Use breath to calm down a busy mind
- Work with the Energy Center and Pressure points to activate fundamental body functions 
- Increase the ability to focus
- Reduce stress levels, anxiety, and negative thoughts
- Reconnect with inner peace
- Build muscle strength, flexibility, and balance through the flow of gentle movements

Instructor:

Yuko has been teaching Tai Chi since 2019. Trained and certified as a Taichi and Yoga instructor, Yuko is passionate about deepening her understanding of physical practice that fosters one’s mental and emotional well-being. Her aim is to guide you through the meditative and effective Taichi movements so that you lead a lively life.

Notes: This class will be offered in Hybrid mode, with in-person classes happening at Old Town Hall and Yuko will use Zoom to broadcast the class live. Recordings of the class will not be available.
