Description:

Never taken a pottery class before? Then this is where to start!  Once you've taken this class, you can move on to beginner classes.

Get a taste of clay and figure out which technique(s) are for you!  You will be introduced to the basics on the potter’s wheel and you will explore what you can create through hand-building techniques such as coiling, slab building, and pinch potting.  This class will conclude with the glazing of your unique clay creations. 

You will spend approximately half of the session in the wheel classroom and half in the hand building classroom.  Clay and use of classroom tools included.

Classes are 3 hours each for 9 weeks. 

Please note:  There will NOT be a class on May 19th for the Victoria Day long weekend.
