This class is all about slowing down and experiencing the therapeutic value of creating at the potter’s wheel.  Let go of stress, breathe, and focus your mind and body on the clay.

If you are new to throwing, there will be instruction on the basics of working on the potter's wheel – centering, pulling, shaping, and simple trimming. 

If you have some experience then the instructor can provide you with tips & tricks to work on any problem areas you would like to focus on.  Either way, the goal is 9 weeks of feeling good!  Practice and make pots at your own pace in a relaxing & supportive atmosphere.   This class will conclude with the finishing and glazing of your unique pieces during the last 2 weeks. 

No tools or supplies required - we have what you'll need!  You may choose to purchase your own toolkit at checkout if you prefer.

Classes are 3 hours each for 9 weeks.

Please note:  There will NOT be a class on May 20th for the Victoria Day long weekend.
