Description:

Have you mastered all of the components of beginner level classes and are looking to advance your skills?  This class is for those who are comfortable with the basics, can centre consistently, and can throw an even-walled cylinder at least 6 inches tall.

The focus will be on throwing bigger and improving consistency.  Somewhat more complex forms will be introduced. Some time will be spent on altering thrown pots off the wheel.  Other techniques demonstrated may include making various types of handles and simple lids.  Some surface decoration techniques will be explored in a limited way.  The class will be a mix of guided lessons and independent study with the instructor helping you work through areas of concern or towards specific goals.

Classes are 3 hours each for 9 weeks.
