Description:

Have you mastered all of the components of intermediate level classes and are looking to advance your skills even further?

The focus of this class is on throwing bigger, including throwing in sections (& joining), altering on and off the wheel, exploring complex forms, and introducing more precise additions such as well-pouring spouts and fitted lids.

Surface decoration and glazing techniques will be expanded on.  The class will be a mix of guided lessons and independent study with the instructor helping you work through areas of concern or towards specific goals.

Classes are 3 hours each for 9 weeks.

Please note:  There will NOT be a class on May 20th for the Victoria Day long weekend.

Prerequisites: Intermediate wheel class(es) at Clayworx or another studio/facility or equivalent learning.
