Description:
This two-day course focuses on both technical skills and helpful observation in painting trees with grace and character. We'll observe the growth patterns of various deciduous trees (maples, oaks, birch, etc.) and differentiate between common coniferous trees (pines, spruce). And, of course, we'll practice the technical skills useful in creating these beauties! Participants are asked to collect a variety of tree pictures for reference. Potentially, the last half-day will be used to complete one of your practice studies. No prior experience is necessary!
