Description:

Learn the introductory skills and techniques for making paper using plant fibre and repurposed materials. Discuss the history of papermaking, commonly used plants, ethics of foraging, and sustainability in artmaking. 

Using materials and tools provided, practice forming a piece of paper. Develop your relationsip to the land by learning how to make low-cost, environmentally friendly, handmade art supplies.

No experience necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring notetaking material and a water resistant folder for transporting wet paper home.
