Description:

Course Description:
This course examines interrelationships within and between Canada's natural and human systems and how these systems interconnect with those in other parts of the world. Students will explore environmental, economic, and social geographic issues relating to topics such as transportation options, energy choices, and urban development. Students will apply the concepts of geographic thinking and the geographic inquiry process, including spatial technologies, to investigate various geographic issues and to develop possible approaches for making Canada a more sustainable place to live.

Weekdays (less Wednesdays): 8:30am to 4:00pm
with a 60-min lunch and two 15-min breaks
Wednesdays only: 8:30am to 11:45am
with one 15-min break

Required age: - 21 on the day of the activity

Notes: Lunch is included for all credit course registrations. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.
