Description:

This camp is an introduction to traditional art techniques for children. It provides a diverse program of activities, that entertains and stimulates our campers while providing them with a safe and encouraging environment. Campers are instructed by a former Ashbury Art teacher.

The program is designed to engage campers in a hands-on, activity-based, creative experience. Your child will encounter a wide variety of artistic opportunities including the following activities: sketching techniques, sculpture, tie die, printmaking and painting.

Important Note:
This camp will be nearly identical to Art Camp (Week #2), taking place from July 08-12.. Many of the tasks and projects will be the same. While interested students are welcome to register for both weeks of Art Camp, we encourage students to explore our other offerings during the week.

Required age: 9 - 13 as of 12/31/2024

Notes: Lunch is included for all summer camp registrations. Our dining room provides healthy and delicious meals with a variety of choices. Special dietary needs are supported by our Food Services team.
