LEADER IN TRAINING - Session 1

Description:

IMPORTANT: PRE TEENS/TEENS ONLY this is for grade 6 and grade 7 members who would want a leadership role during daycamp. LiTs will have the opportunity to learn new skills such as CV writing, aniamtion, digital literacy and more! LiTs will join our younger groups to shadow our animators and get first hand experience on working with children. Recreation fun for their age group is also incorportated based on the session theme as well. 

Please note that campers will be outside as much as possible in local parks. 

Please ensure that your child arrives at Dawson prepared for the day with the following: 

1.    Hat  
2.    Water bottle
3.    Sunscreen
4.    Running shoes
5.    Lunch and snacks
6.    Bathing suit and towel 

*Epi Pens need to be carried on the child in a pouch at all times - no exceptions

Campers are not allowed to bring electronics, money, peanut butter, or any kind of nuts.

Camper must be signed in and out by their caregiver and arrive no later then 9:00 AM

Campers will receive a light breakfast in the morning and a snack in the afternoon. Parents/Guardians are required to provide their child(ren) with a lunch and additional snacks.

Campers will receive their t-shirt on the first day they are registered and this shirt must be worn during all outings. 1 tshirt for all sessions

If at any time your child is posing a safety risk to themselves or others Dawson has the right to terminate the contract for the week and you must pick up your child immediately.

Only persons listed on your Amilia account as authorized for pick-up with a valid piece of ID will be permitted to sign-out your child. 

Please note that if you are late you will be automatically charged the extra supervision fee of $50

If you wish to not attend a week, contact us at cindy.cohen@bgcdawson.ca as soon as you make the decision to cancel. Please include your name, the name of your child(ren), the week(s) you wish to cancel in the email. Cancellation requests must be received at the latest 9:00 AM on the Thursday before the session begins. Camp cancellations are subject to the clauses outlined in the “Camp Cancellation Notice” in your Amilia account.

Prerequisites: BGC Dawson Annual Membership - $15.00. this is for children currently in grade 6 and grade 7 only All payments need to be up to date.
