Description:
Participants will learn how to teach a dog tricks! They will work with a therapy dog, their trainer and Shelley Hunter, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA). During the 6 sessions, participants will learn how to break down a goal into smaller tasks, gain a better understanding of positive reinforcement, develop their communication skills and benefit from some doggy love! The four-legged friends include: A maltese poodle name Kali A golden doodle named Enzo (medium sized) A boxer mix named Cleo (medium sized) A large black Golden doodle named Polo A session will take place from 6-7PM on the following dates: Monday April 29th Monday May 6th Monday May 13th Monday May 27th Monday June 3rd Monday June 10th Please note there is no session on Monday May 20th.
