Description:

This Beginner's Yoga and Guided Meditation class is designed for those who wish to be part of a community that fosters self love and awareness. Together each week we explore what it means to work with our breath and bodies in harmony, creating space and mindfulness in our practice. Together we learn what it is to be truly in touch with our higher selves and bring that awareness into our daily lives.

In this yoga class it is not only about the physical practice it is about creating awareness through breath and when practiced mindfully with awareness and self/reflection we are able to be true to ourselvves and the life that exists inside of us.

We use a series of props as we are all different and have different needs. The use of blocks, belts, chairs, walls, bolsters and blankets are part of this class.  We do free poses however always with the mind that this is your practice and the relationship between your body and your mind. If your body is saying this is a bit too much today we use  props to create more gentleness in the pose.

As a class we do explore using props together too as it allows the body an opportunity to create more space and flexibility.

The last 10 minutes of the class we join together in  Shavasana for a guided meditation that allows you an opportunity to connect within you.

We ask that you bring your own blanket and water bottle and take the time to connect with yourself.
