Description:
Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, lyrical, and classical ballet. Discover the connection of the mind and the body through fluid dance movements, centre and across the floor exercises, some improvisation, and technical elements such as leaps, turns, and kicks. Build confidence and don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Notes: Dress Code: Comfortable clothing, t-shirt, leggings, athleisure, black spaghetti strap leotard, black dance shorts AND/OR footless beige tights. (Recommended brands: Capezio, Mondor, Body Wrappers, Revolution Dancewear). Footwear: Barefeet. Hair: Neatly groomed off of face in a classical bun or ponytail. Please see class description for the link to our 2023/2024 Dress Code.
Prerequisites: Previous Contemporary experience is required. Recommended to take with a Jazz or Ballet class.
