Description:

In Primary Ballet, dancers continue to learn and develop their classical ballet technique, positions (arms & feet), and musicality that align with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus. Exercises will include: pliés, turns, fingers and hand coordinations, and working on turn out and foot positions (first & second position). Dancers also learn travelling steps such as skips, gallops, and leaps.

*We offer a Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Class Award or Examination opportunity (by invitation only). Dancers are highly recommended to take this class 2x per week to be considered for the examination.

Notes: Dress Code: Pink leotard with convertible tights. Skirt optional. (Recommended brands: Capezio, Mondor, Body Wrappers, Revolution Dancewear). Footwear: Full sole pink ballet slippers. Prerequisites: Previously taken Pre-Primary Ballet is highly recommended, but not required.
