Description:
In Hip Hop 1, dancers are introduced to an urban street style of movement with upbeat and age-appropriate music. Hip Hop is most notably characterized by its bounces, rocks, intricate footwork, and its incorporation of other styles such as voguing, whacking, breakdancing, and tutting. Dancers will warm-up and learn steps, grooves, isolations, and fun, age-appropriate dance combinations.

Prerequisites: No previous experience required. Recommended to take with Jazz 1, Primary Jazz & Acro, or a Tap 1 class.
