Description:
In Jazz 3, dancers will progress their technique and movements within the Jazz dance style. Class will consist of a cardio warm-up and stretching sequence that focuses on training dancers' flexibility and strength. This is followed by across the floor and a variety of progressions that incorporate kicks, leaps, jumps, turns, and connecting steps. Your dancer will challenge and enjoy themselves in this high energy dance class! ***CDM follows the ADE (Artistic Dance Educators) curriculum for jazz dance technique and progressions.

Notes: Dress Code: Black spaghetti strap leotard, black dance shorts AND/OR convertible beige tights or leggings. (Recommended brands: Capezio, Mondor, Body Wrappers, Revolution Dancewear). Footwear: Beige jazz shoes (Recommended brands: Capezio, Bloch). Hair: Neatly groomed off of face in a classical bun or ponytail. Prerequisites: Jazz 1 or 2 is required. Recommended to take with an Acro Dance, Ballet, or Hip Hop class.
