Description:
Incorporates various elements from ballet and modern dance. This class will cover technical and artistic foundations of contemporary dance focusing on spacial awareness, expansiveness, contractions, isolations, and use of space will be explored.

Notes: Dress Code: Black spaghetti strap leotard, black dance shorts AND/OR footless beige tights. (Recommended brands: Capezio, Mondor, Body Wrappers, Revolution Dancewear). Footwear: Barefeet. Hair: Neatly groomed off of face in a classical bun or ponytail. Please see class description for the link to our 2023/2024 Dress Code.
Prerequisites: Previous ballet experience is highly recommended, but not required. Recommended to take a Youth Foundations Ballet or Jazz 3 class.
