Examples of Shuptrine’s gilded works, including custom frames, restoration and regilding of period pieces, will be explored. He will also address the importance of the marriage between fine art and framing and will provide examples for visual aids. In addition to his presentation, Shuptrine will provide a frame or sculpture piece on which participants can try their hand at laying leaf!
