Designed especially for middle and high school pianists, singers, and instrumentalists, this introduction to Music Theory can help aspiring musicians get more out of their lessons, improve music reading, and generally enhance their knowledge of music.  This class covers the building blocks of music, including key signatures, meter, modes, chords, and chord progressions. Beginning Music Theory is great if you are already in a band or orchestra, if you are planning to study music in college, if you like to compose music, or if you take lessons and want to know more about how music works.

The administration fee ($30/student plus $10/additional family member) charged each term supports administration, office supplies, piano tuning, recital/performance costs, building supplies, and general overhead. This fee may be posted to your account as a separate invoice.
